The study of information networks with statistical network analysis is interesting to us in that it might lead to insights on the semantic structure of these networks. For example, identifying the type of a network of parts of it based on structural metrics only would be more efficient than a semantic or linguistic analysis.
We currently develop this area of research. We start with focussed teaching on networks within the regular computer science education.
